Playermaker: price, features and alternatives

What Playermaker does

Playermaker is a foot-mounted wearable sensor for football players, paired with a mobile app on iOS and a coach dashboard. The sensor attaches with silicone straps, uses Bluetooth and needs no Wi-Fi or GPS signal. It reports touches and movement, with left and right foot analysis, game-day and practice modes, personalised weekly targets and benchmarks against academy and pro players. The site lists a Playermaker 2.0 kit and a CITYPLAY edition developed with Manchester City that adds in-app tips, drills and a leaderboard. Both are one-off hardware purchases, with the app listed as free to download. Straps come in sizes for kids and adults.

Best for: Players and youth coaches wanting boot-mounted touch and movement tracking without GPS
