What Trace does
Trace is a leased AI camera and subscription service that films youth sport and produces highlights for each player. A wide-angle camera on a tripod records the whole field, and software edits personalised player highlights, game reels and live updates sent to parents. Players are followed with a 4x PlayerCam zoom, and the higher tier adds analytics such as possession, shots and game stats, plus editing and download of highlights. Soccer is the lead sport, with basketball, football and others listed. The camera is leased rather than sold: yearly plans include it at no extra cost, while monthly plans add a one-time lease fee. Team chat and live stories are described as free.
Best for: Parents and youth teams wanting automatic player highlights from game video
